Coaching Programs

Mosman FC offers football camps during each of the four public school holidays for boys and girls aged 6 to 14. With the exception of the December/January holidays, camps are typically run during the second week of the school holidays. Timing, however, is dependent upon ground and coach availability.

Camps run through the school holidays from 9am to 3pm. Participants can choose to attend from 1 day to full weeks. Sessions are run by experienced football coaches, occasionally with the assistance of junior and trainee coaches.

Sessions aim to allow participants to develop their football skills in a fun environment.

Camps are held at Georges Heights Oval, Suakin Drive, Mosman, subject to confirmation about ground availability by council.

Registration is essential. Watch the Club’s website and relevant social platforms for information about upcoming camps.

Important additional information about camps

Be sure to bring:

  • a willingness to learn and have fun;
  • a water bottle with your name on it, morning and afternoon tea/snacks and lunch;
  • a hat (compulsory) and sun block;
  • football shirt and shorts;
  • a waterproof jacket in case of wet/windy weather; and
  • shin pads (compulsory) and football boots and/or comfortable training shoes.

If rain looks likely, the forecast will be monitored closely and a decision as to whether camp will proceed on a particular day will be made on the following basis:

  • if the forecast is for rain to continue all day, the camp will be cancelled and a refund will be made available for that day; or
  • if the forecast is for intermittent showers then the camp will proceed and undercover activities organised for participants during showers.

Wherever possible, we will endeavour to make a decision about the camp proceeding on a particular day by 5pm on the preceding day.
